More information about the Nehemiah House under the Recovery Program tab. Information for those who have have a loved suffering addiction can find help under the Family Services tab.

Nehemiah’s Wall – Support Group for Women

Nehemiah’s Wall is a Christian-based support group for women dealing with not only addicted loved ones, but any number of personal issues. Those close to addicts suffer from the resulting chaos, which leads to a destructive cycle of behavior. Typical reactions are self-blame and trauma-related responses. A commonly associated belief is that you can fix the addict, which results in a feeling of personal defeat when your efforts fail. This group will promote healing for its participants by examining addiction-related issues, as well as personal struggles from a Christian perspective. Group meets every Saturday 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. @ The Lighthouse, 190 Spruce Street, Lexington.

Outreach to the poor and needy

Our staff has the ability to meet the needs of many of our participants in a variety of ways.  When available, we are able to distribute clothing, toiletries and Bibles.  In addition, we connect those in need with other services throughout the city of Lexington such as medical, food and household items.  We are always available to counsel those in need and pray with them.
