Use the buttons below to make a donation to The Lighthouse Ministries. Whether you make a one time donation, or choose to sponsor someone for our Nehemiah House program that provides a safe environment for men with life controlling issues to regain their footing within society.

Did you know that for $50 a month or $600 annually you can feed a homeless person for an entire year?

For $200 a month, or $2,400 annually you can sponsor a man in our Nehemiah House Program.

We accept one time donations, as well as, annual, quarterly or monthly gifts. Your donations are essential to sustain and grow this ministry, and allow us to change lives for a lifetime.

The Lighthouse Ministry accepts recurring donations on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis. If you prefer, you can make a one time donation to the Lighthouse Ministries. Your donations help us run our Nehemiah House and day-to-day operations.

2010 Thanksgiving Dinner

The Lighthouse Ministries, Inc. is in need of volunteers and donations for our Thanksgiving Dinner, November 20th 2010 Saturday at Sayre School in Downtown Lexington at 5:00 P.M. We are anticipating 300 + for the meal. Please fill out a response card and RSVP your participation in this joyous event.

We are expecting to give gifts to 300+ men, women and children. This year we are asking you or your group (business, church or Sunday school) to sponsor families or individuals. 300 Lighthouse sweatshirts have been purchased as gifts for the adults. The cost for the hoodies are $20 a piece. We would like for you to purchase these from us. The people that come to The Lighthouse are very excited about the hoodies.

Christmas 2010 Dinner / Presents

We have given away presents to the homeless and poor in our community for the last six years. I will say without reservation that it is the highlight of the year for us. Our Christmas Party will be December 28th 2010 Saturday at Sayre School in Downtown Lexington at 5:00 P.M.

This year we are going to do it a little different. If you would like to sponsor a family or an individual you will need to contact us @ 859-259-3434 or email us @ volunteer@thelighthouseministries.org.

Last year we away gifts to 266 people.

This year we are asking for you, your place of business, church, Sunday school group to sponsor the families or the individuals. We have ordered Lighthouse sweatshirts to give as gifts. We will do the shopping for the families. This keeps it fair for all families. Some people shop by the list and then other people bought a lot. So to have two children standing there comparing presents is not good.

Family of 5 in the household - $375
Family of 4 in the household - $300
Family of 3 in the household - $225
Family of 2 in the household - $150
We have around 165 single men and women - $40


What your money will provide is:
Children: or a toy and outfit and candy (age appropriate)
Adults: A Lighthouse Hooded sweatshirt and socks, underwear and a bag of candy.

Again this year we will have a visit from Santa. We will take photos of everyone and put in picture frames. Any donation is appreciated.
